Description
Another character from Tamora Pierce's books. I felt more inspired when doing the Briar piece but it was fun none the less! I am not sure this is how I originally pictured her but it is apparently how she wanted to look.
Orginally I drew flames around her but that looked wonky so it ended up being smoke/steam.
And yes, her staff would be way too small were she to stand upright but artistic licence or something...

Beautiful composition! The swirly lines at the bottom of really lovely and have a lot of life to them! Gorgeous work!
